Frequently asked questions

The app closes or is not working as expected. What can I do?

Close the app completely, then open it again. If the problem continues, email us with your phone model and iOS or Android version. We reply within 48 working hours.

How do I share tracking with another parent?

Go to Settings → Family → Members and invitations. The ‘My family’ screen shows an invitation code that you can copy or share. The other parent installs the app, creates an account and joins the family using this code. On the same screen, the Manager can renew the code, transfer their role or remove someone’s access. Anyone can leave a family without closing their account.

How does Nidoo, your parenting companion, work?

Nidoo uses your baby’s recent journal to answer with the right context. It distinguishes between recorded facts, general guidance and its suggestions, then explains its limits. Numerical guidance in the app links to official sources. Nidoo can also log an event for you: say or type ‘Lazare breastfed for 15 minutes on the right at 2 pm’, then confirm the entry in the journal.

Is the vaccination schedule in the health record up to date?

Yes. The health record includes the vaccines listed for all children aged 2 months to 6 years in the French Ministry of Health’s 2026 vaccination schedule: the six-in-one vaccine (diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, Hib and hepatitis B), pneumococcal, rotavirus (recommended), meningococcal B, meningococcal ACWY, MMR, then the booster at age 6 (diphtheria, tetanus, polio and whooping cough). This French schedule extends mandatory meningococcal ACWY and B vaccination to all children born since 1 January 2023. Due dates are calculated from the date of birth: the health record flags upcoming doses and doses whose scheduled age has passed without an entry.

How do I turn on Childcare mode for nursery, a childminder or grandparents?

On the Home screen, tap Childcare mode and enter the time period. During that time, nap estimates are paused and reminders are disabled. The app resumes automatically when childcare ends.

I am not receiving reminders. What should I check?

Check that PetitNid notifications are allowed in your phone settings and that reminders are enabled in the app. If Childcare mode is active, some sleep reminders may be paused until your baby returns.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete my account. Your profile and AI conversations are deleted immediately. If you are the family’s only member, its data is also deleted; if another parent remains a member, the shared family journal stays accessible to them. To leave tracking with the other parent without closing your account, you can simply leave the family from the ‘My family’ screen.

The nap estimates do not match my baby’s rhythm. What can I do?

Estimates adjust to the naps you record, usually after 3 to 5 days of use. You can also correct the wake-up time in the Sleep tab to make them more accurate.

Is my data sold or shared?
