Your data stays under your control.

Delete some of your data

You don’t need to delete your account to remove individual items. In the app:

• An individual event (breastfeed, bottle, sleep, nappy, pumping or medicine): open the journal, tap the event, then tap the bin icon in the edit window.
• A conversation with the AI assistant : in the Chat tab, press and hold the conversation, then confirm. Conversations are automatically deleted 12 months after their last message if you take no action.
• A bag from your milk stock : Settings → Milk stock → tap the bag → Delete.
• Your baby’s photo : Settings → Baby → tap the photo to replace it.
• Your profile information (baby’s first name, date of birth, sex): Settings → Baby → edit.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the PetitNid app
2. Sign in to your account
3. Go to the Settings tab
4. Scroll down to the Account section at the bottom of the page
5. Tap Delete my account
6. Confirm deletion

Your profile, AI assistant conversations and family membership are deleted immediately. If you are the only member, the family’s events, photos and notes are also deleted. If another parent remains a member, they keep access to the shared family journal.

If you no longer have access to the app

Email us at contact@petitnid.app with:

• The email address associated with your account
• Minimal evidence of account ownership (for example, a screenshot of an email you received from us)

We will process the request as soon as possible, usually within 7 working days and no later than 30 days, then send you confirmation.

Data covered by deletion

• User profile : email address, display name
• Baby profile : first name, sex, date of birth, photo
• Daily events : breastfeeds, bottles, sleep, nappies, pumping, medicines
• Milk stock in the freezer
• Conversations with the AI assistant and their history
• Notes and free-text observations entered on events
• Family : if you are the only member, the family is deleted. If other parents are members, your user profile is removed from it and they keep their data.

No personal data specific to your account is kept after deletion, except where legally required. Technical backups expire within a maximum of 30 days. Shared family data follows the rule described above when another parent remains a member.
